Happy Norooz

Norooz is the Persian cultural new year celebration which coincides with the first day of spring. For me, the first day of spring marks the return of nice biking weather. Time to swap out the the studded tires. They served me well this winter.

There were three bikers at Nathan Philips Square last weekend demonstrating bike tricks. We didn't notice they don't have seats on their bikes until they mentioned it.

This was one of the other displays at the "design for the other 90%" exhibit. This one isn't that much of an innovation in my opinion. I saw bikes piled with waaaaay more than this on my last trip to India.
