I would just like to underscore the fact that Tilak is correct in saying "fake pleather". It's not fake leather, it's actually imitation pleather. fabricy. It's quite the wardrobe item, and something I'm sure Stacey and Clinton would trash. But they're not here, so I'm keeping it:)
I also wondered about the redundancy of fake pleather. Is it supposed to look like pleather? Or is it supposed to look like leather and just isn't as accurate as pleather? How confounding.

and Alison, I think it's supposed to look like leather, but since it is a worse imitation than pleather, I ordained it fake pleather. It has stuck, and I believe it to be quite accurate:)
